Custom wall niche sizes
The niche is manufactured to the required external size and visible opening. Width, height and depth must be coordinated with wall framing, panel thickness, tile layout and the objects being stored or displayed.
A complete size schedule should identify:

- Shelf count, thickness and position

Wall niche materials
304 stainless steel wall niches are used for many indoor residential, hospitality and commercial applications. 316 stainless steel wall niches can be specified for coastal locations, humid environments and selected outdoor projects.
Material thickness depends on the niche size, shelf span, edge profile and expected load. A larger unit does not simply use the same construction as a small bathroom recess; internal reinforcement and installation support need to match the design.
Brushed, PVD and powder-coated finishes
Natural brushed stainless creates a clean silver surface with a directional grain. PVD finishes add champagne, bronze, black, rose gold or gold tones while retaining a metallic appearance. Powder coating can provide matte solid colors for architectural coordination.
For grouped niches, all visible parts should use the same approved finish sample and grain direction. This keeps adjacent modules visually consistent under linear lighting.
LED stainless steel wall niches
Integrated LED lighting can be positioned at the top, sides, underside of shelves or behind a concealed edge. Warm-white light is often selected for residential and hospitality interiors, while neutral or cool-white light may suit product display and commercial spaces.
Confirm color temperature, voltage, dimming control, cable exit and driver access before fabrication. Lighting components should remain serviceable after installation wherever the project requires future replacement.

Grouped wall niche composition

Hinged, sliding or concealed doors can turn an open recess into protected storage. Door swing, handle detail and hardware access must be included in the drawing.
